state the function of cell membrane and endoplasmic reticulum

Hi friend,

The cell membrane's function is to control or supervise the movement of substances which come in and go out of the cell. It is also known as the selectively permeable membrane.

The endoplasmic reticulum's (ER) is to transport protein and other carbohydrates. There are two types of ER:-

1. Smooth ER
2. Rough ER
