Insects such as grasshopper, cockroach, housefly, and a mosquito have tiny holes on their bodies spiracles through which oxygen enters in their body. This oxygen is then carried by the air tubes called trachea which are the respiratory organs. Here the blood absorbs the oxygen and sends it to the various tissues of the body for their functioning.
