■LYMPH

☆It is another type of fluid found in our body , also involved in transportation.

☆It flows in the vessels called Lymphatic vessels , which are colourless.

■FUNCTIONS OF LYMPH :

☆Lymph is involved in transporation of substances .

☆Lymph carries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extracellular space back into the blood.

☆Lymphocytes present in it destroy harmful pathogens.

☆LYMPH VESSELS are wider than the capillaries and are meant to carry only lymph .
