--Lipids are used for energy storage in animals in form of fats. (Oils in plants)
--Lipids Acts as an heat insulator to reduce heat loss.(In form of fats)
--Lipids Gives the body buoyancy aa they are less dense than water.
--Lipids are small molecules insoluble in water, they are excellent candidates for signalling. Hence, they are the chemical messengers in our body.
