the war created a new economic and political situation in india
though it was fought between allies and axis powers its impact was felt in india
us needed defence loans, it charged custom duties and introduced income tax
then famine came in India like Bengal famile
and influenza spred
all hopes of Indians for betterment after war went into vain.
