The WWI had great impacts on indian freedom struggle.
The war had created a new economical and political situation all around the world. The Britain was under huge war expenditure which it had financed from war loans from America. When the situation of 'Great Economically depression' , America started taking back it's money which it gave to the European countries. Now Britain was under huge debt. So, Britain impose more tax on Indians to financed that money from India. Custom taxes were increased and a new, Income tax, was introduced. At the same time crops failed in many parts of India. It leads to increase in the price of every item in market. During all this influenza epidemic broke out. This make Indian against British government and boosts the freedom struggle in India.
