the energy cant be destroyed but can be changed from one form to another

the bob suspended in a pendulum remains oscillate till all its energy is used up the energy applied to the bob t make it oscillate is not finished or destroyed but is has been used by friction. say this energy is reacted against friction as the frictional force has been stopping the bob.
