The Law of conservation of mass states that the matter can neither be created nor be destroyed in any chemical reaction.

Due to this, we have to balance the chemical equations.

according to law of conservation of mass the mass is an isolated system it is neither be created not be destroy by chemical reaction or physical transformation

now

in chemical reaction in reaction we get the reactant of mass is equal to product of mass

some energy is evolve in form of heat but it doesn't effect the mass

reactent may change in to new product but it also not effect the conservation of mass
