State the law of constant proportion. give an example

This law states that in the formation of Amy compound, the elements will always mix in the same proportion.
For eg:-In case of H2O, 2 atoms of hydrogen reacts with one atom of oxygen. so, if these two elements react only in this proportion only then the compound will be H2O.
