Hey,

Friend,

Laws of reflection.....

● The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

<i = <r

● The incident ray, the normal to the surface at the point of incidence and the reflected ray, all lie in the same plane.

Hope this will help you...

Dear Student,

● Laws of reflection of light -

There are two laws of reflection -

  • The incident ray, reflected ray & normal to reflecting surface all lie in same plane.
  • Angle of incidence is numerically equal to angle of reflection. i.e. ∠i = ∠r.

● Extra information -

  • Angle made by incident ray with the normal at the point of incidence is called incident angle.
  • Angle made by reflected ray with the normal at the point of incidence is called reflected angle.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
