Answer:

Laws of reflection;

  • Angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection.

  • The incident ray, reflected ray and Normal all lie on the same plane.

Concave lens;

  • Concave mirror is known as diverssing lens.

  • The focus lies behind the lens.

Convex lens;

  • It is known as conversing lens.

  • The focus lies in front of the lens.

Hope it helps you.

LAWS OF REFLECTION:

1.Angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

2.The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal at the point of incidence, all lie in the same plane...

Comparison between concave and convex lenses:-

  1. A convex lens is a converging lens. When parallel rays of light pass through a convex lens, the refracted rays converge at the focal point. ... Concave lenses are thinner at the middle. Rays of light that pass through the lens are spread out (they diverge).
  2. Convex lens are lens which merges the light rays at a particular point that travels through. Concave lens, are lens which disperses or diverges the light rays passing through it. A convex lens is thicker at the middle and thinner at the edges. Concave lenses are thinner at the middle and thicker at the edges.
