Laws of reflection
1. The incident ray ,the normal and the reflected ray all lie in the same plane
2. The angle of incidence is equal angle of reflection
Absolute refractive index
The ratio of velocity of light in vacuum compared to velocity of light in the medium
It can be expressed in mathematically
n = c/v
n is the refractive index of medium , c is the speed of light in air commonly taken as 3*10 ^8 and v is the speed in medium
