To be completely accurate, if the magnetic flux through a coil is changed, a voltage will be produced. This voltage is known as the induced emf. The magnetic flux is a measure of the number of magnetic field lines passing through an area.

Fleming's right hand rule , show the direction of induced current .
according to the rule , if we stretch our forefinger ,middle finger and thumb in such a way that they are mutually perpendicular to each other.
then forefinger shows the direction of magnetic field , thumb show the direction of motion , and middle finger will show the direction of Induced Current.
