State the law which must hold good for a balanced chemical equation.

monanik05: :)
monanik05: Can u explain it ?
zerkies: SURE
zerkies: ACCORDING TO THIS LAW, MATTER CANNOT BE CREATED NOR DESTROYED,IF EQUATION IS NOT BALANCED IT MEANS THAT MATTER{ATOM} IS CREATED OR DESTROYED.HENCE WE MUST BALANCE THE EQUATION
monanik05: Thanks!! :
zerkies: IS IT OK?????
monanik05: yup
zerkies: OK

Hey❤️

The law which must hold good for a balanced chemical equation is the law of conservation of Mass by Antoine Laurent Lavoisier.

This law states that, Mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in a chemical reaction. Thus, the amount of matter does not change.

Considering this law, the mass on the reactant side will be equal to the mass on the product side. Hence, balancing the chemical equation becomes necessary.
