Laws of Photo-Electricity-

1.Photoelectric current is directly proportional to the intensity of incident light and is independent of frequency.

2. The stopping potential and hence the maximum velocity of the electrons depends upon the frequency of incident light and is independent of its intensity

when a beam of light falls on a metal sheet then electrons are ejected from the surface and ejecting electrons are directly proportional to wavelength of the light used.
