Sclerenchyma Tissue are simple permanent Tissue made up of elongated or round cells with a space inside the cells called LUMENS.

They are present in :-

1. Husk of coconut.

2. Hard covering of seed and nuts.

3.Bark of a tree.

FUNCTIONS are:-

1.Provide extra mechanical support to plants .

2. Protect the plants from Harsh environment condition.
