Here is ur answer mate,

The three main challenges to democracy are:-

❤️Foundational challenge

The foundational challenge of democracy is faced by those countries which haven't had any democratic form of government hitherto. This form of challenge involves bringing down the existing non-democratic regime, keeping the military away from capturing power and establishment of a sovereign democratic state.

❤️The challenge of expansion

The challenge of expansioninvolves applying the basic principle of democraticgovernment across all the religions, different social groups, and various institutions. Greater power should be given to local governments. Federal principles have to be extended to all the units of the federation.

❤️The challenge of deepening of democracy

Deepening of democracy involves strengthening of the institutions and practice of democracy. The ordinary people have different expectations from democracy in different societies. It wants more of people’s participation and control. They want to bring down the control of rich and powerful people in making of the governmental decision.

Hope it helps....❤️✌️
