legislative is a department which makes laws.
executive is a department which executes all laws.
and judiciary is the one which protects all the laws.

Legislative makes the laws what is necessary for the country. Executive gives effect to the laws made by the legislative. Judiciary interprets the laws,punish the law breakers,protect the fundamental rights of citizens.
