There are different managerial uses of spreadsheet and it can be customized according to the need of the manager and organization.

However, the most important uses are creating budget, creating graphs and charts, sorting and storing data, comparison of performance, etc.  

However, besides these setting target, calculating appraisal, completing payroll, calculating incentives are the common uses managers prefer to do.
