Growth of a human body is a very complex phenomenon and there are number of factors that effect the growth of the human body.
The very basic hormone that effects growth is the growth hormone, but there are many more like the thyroid hormone, androgens, glycocorticoids and insulin.
It is also influenced by genetic factors.
