The necessary factor for sustaining the life of a cell are :

1. Nutrients: The cell and the organelle need ATP for sustaining their energy and also to carry out their work . For this purpose adequate nutrition is a must for all the cells

2. Oxygen supply: Since most of the cells in human body respire aerobically. The oxygen concentration is a must for the cell. Even the energy liberated in aerobic respiration is much more.  

3. Protection: The cells need protection from various types of oxidation stress. Also the cells need protection from other factors like bacteria and other microbes

Apart from these electrolyte and ions are also needed for proper functioning of the cells.
