Heya,
Ohm's Law. that given the temperature constant, the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference between the two points.
That is
V is directly proportional to I
=> V = IR,
R = Constant of Proportionality known as resistance.
Verification :- Can be done using an apparatus according to the definition.
That is
To draw a graph between V and R through a conductor.
OHMIC CONDUCTOR :- Those which follow Ohm's law. Graph-(a).
NON-OHMIC CONDUCTOR- Those which show slight deviation from ohm's law. Graph-(b).
