Liver fluke and planaria belong to PLATYHELMINTHES of the animal kingdom
the members of this Phylum are commonly called as flatworms because they have dorsoventrally flattened body.
these are bilaterally symmetrical organisms and they have organ level system of organisation.
apart from planaria this phylum also consist of parasitic flatworms such as
Taenia solium ( pork tapeworm)
Fasciola ( the liver fluke)
