The physical origin of ohm's law:
- The origin of Ohm's Law came into being in the year 1781 when the father of this law tried on experiments and converted them into the most followed law in the field of electricity.
- He did it by measuring the quantity of current that was flowing in the conductor and also measuring the voltage or potential difference between two points and seeing that if they are proportional to each other with certain or slight differences which was covered by the proportionality constant and this proportionality constant was resistance.
- This is where he came up with the law that the potential difference or voltage was the product of resistance and current.
