A prime minister is a prime minister , it does not matter if it is a coalition government.
It does not affects his power , but yes in coalition govt working style of PM is decided or rather defined by the attitude of other allies.
For e.g Look at PM Manmohan singh or former PM, he was called robot PM and at some extent it is correct. His actions were too much dependent on Allies.
At the same time look at Modi , his actions are purely taken on the basis of nation’s Interest. He knows his govt is stable and he has full term without any disturbance.
