________________________The principle of homogeneity is that the dimensions of each the terms of a dimensiional equation on both sides are the same .

dimensional homogeneity is the quality of an equation having quantities of same units on both sides. A valid equation in physics must be homogeneous, since equality cannot apply between quantities of different nature.

Answer_

In case of a true equation, the dimensions of the physical quantity in LHS is equal to the dimensions of the individual factors on RHS. This principle is known as the PRINCIPLE OF HOMOGENEITY.

Two limitations of dimensions analysis are:-

1).It can't derive a relation having more than one part in an equation.

2).Does not test whether a physical quantity is a scalar or a vector.
