✔Hey Mate......✍

✔Question:☄

  • State the principle underlying the following techniques. (i) Fractional Distillation (ii) Evaporation.

Answer:☃️

The basic principle used in Fractional distillation:

  • The basic principle of this type of distillation is that different liquids boil and evaporate at different temperatures.

  • So when the mixture is heated, the substance with lower boiling point starts to boil first and convert into vapour.

The principle used in Evaporation:☃️

  • Principle: Evaporation is a surface phenomenon. The water molecules at the surface of a container tend to come out.☃️

  • So they gain heat energy fro. the nearby molecules and evaporates. ☃️

  • As a result eveporation takes place.☃️

Hope it Helps:)..........
