• A person who wishes to get information from the public authority must take a request in writing. ( letter )

• then the person needs to pay the prescribed fee.

• on receiving the request , a public information officer must furnish the information ( within the fixed period of 30 days filing the application )

• if the matter concern s life and liberty of applicant , information has to be provided within 48 hours of filing the application.

• after a certain period of time the applicant receives his information.
