Resonating velocity is obtained for calculating velocity of sound in air at room temperature.
◆ Experiment-
We use resonance column experiment to calculate velocity of sound in air at room temperature.
Velocity is calculated by formula -
v = 2f(l2-l1)
Where,
f = frequency of sound
l1 = first resonating length
l2 = second resonating length
