State the reason for making the 180 degree latitude without the letter E or W.

There are two directions used in Latitudes and Longitudes - East and West. Due to both these directions, there must be a midpoint of these latitudes.
There are two midpoints - One is the Equator (0°) and the other is 180°. Midpoints are away from any direction like East or West thats why we don't use the word E or W for 0° and 180°.
