HCl(hydrochloric acid) present in our stomach is helps in killing of bacteria which unfortunately come with our food ,it can burn our inner lining of our stomach for protecting the inner lining of stomach there is a substance present in our stomach known as mucus and digestive juice present in our stomach is also a type of acid which helps in digestion of food.
