The inner ear consists of the cochela and the auditory nerve, the cochela amplifies the sound heard....Cochela has a liquid inside it which vibrates and amplifies the sound and this helps in the process of hearing....And the auditory nerve carries these signals to the brain.

Once the vibrations of the eardrum have been transmitted to the oval window, the sound waves continue their journey into the internal ear. The parts of the inner ear have very important purposes for your hearing and your balance.

The inner ear is a maze of tubes and passages, referred to as the labyrinth. In the labyrinth can be found the vestibular and the cochlea.
