State the role of the silkworms in the production of wool

It is not used for the production of wool and hence there is no role of silkworms in the production of wool.

The female silkmoth lays hundreds of eggs.Eggs are stored at a suitable temperature.Then these eggs hatch to form larvae which is called caterpillars.The caterpillars are kept in clean box where they feed mulbery leaves.Within 25-30 days they grow into their significant size.
