Peroxisome is cell organelle that is present in the cytoplasm of the cell.It plays a vital role in photorespiration of all photosynthetic plants. In peroxisome, glycolate is converted to glyoxylate with the oxidation of O2 to peroxide. Then the glyoxylate is converted to glycine with the addition of glutamate. After the glycine goes to the mitochondria and return as serine. Then, the serine is converted to hydroxypyruvate with the addition of alpha-ketoglutarate.Then the hydroxypyruvate is converted to glycerate with the reduction of NADH to NAD+.

I HOPE THIS IS USEFUL.
