The party wins 2% of seats in the Lok Sabha (11 seats) from at least 3 differentStates. At a General Election to Lok Sabha or Legislative Assembly, the party polls 6% of votes in four States and in addition it wins 4 Lok Sabha seats. A party getsrecognition as State Party in four or more States.

in order to become national party the party has to secure at least six per cent of total votes in lok sabha elections or assembly elections in four states.
the party has to win at least four seats in the lok sabha.
TO become a state party the party has to secure at least 4 percent of total votes in legislative assemble election and it has to win minimum 2 seats in assembly election
