density = mass / volume

SI. Unit of density :

density = kilogram / metre cube

= kg / m cube

CGS. Unit of density :

density = gram / metre cube

= gm / m cube

S.I. Unit of Density is kilogram per cubic meter ( kg/m³)

C.G.S. Unit of Density is grams per cubic centimeter ( g/cm³)

How Are they Related?

1 g/cm^3 is equal to 1000 kilogram/cubic meter.
