The SI unit of wavelength is metre (m).

Wavelength is the minimum distance in which a sound wave repeat itself.

The SI unit of frequency is hertz (Hz)..

Frequency is the number of complete waves produced in one second.

HOPE it helps.

Ghayasuddin1020: Wavelength itself is the distance between two compressions or two rare fractions. As it is the distance it's meausured as meter(m) and frequency (no.of vibrations per second) is meausured in Hertz (Hz).

Wavelength :
=> Length of wave
     SI unit = m(meter)

Frequency:
=> The rate per second of a vibration constituting a wave,.
      SI unit = Hz(hertz)

duragpalsingh: thanks.
mahinigam: urs welcome
