State the significance of sporopollenin with reference to its chemical nature

hey mate!!

→ Sporopollenin is highly chemical resistant .

→ it is derived of lipids and carotenoids

→No effect of enzyme , alkali and acid.

→It form the outer membranes of pollen grains i.e EXINE.
