The refraction occurs at the plane surface and the refraction at the curved surface are equals because in the case of plane surface the ligh bends towards the normal (because of density of other medium) and in this the angle of incidence is always equals to the angle of reflection.

Therefore in case second in the curved surface the rays bends towards the normal but the angle of incidence and angle of reflection is not equal.
