Answer:

Mitochondria and Plastids both are double membraned structure. They both have their own DNA and ribosomes of their own. They both can be said as the kitchen of the cell. One gives energy by cellular respiration and other by food storage.

Answer:

The Similarity between Mitochondria and Plastids is that both of them have their own DNA(Deoxyribonucleic Acid) and Ribosomes (synthesizes proteins). Therefore they are also known as semi-autonomous or partly dependent cell organelles.

Plastids are known as the kitchen of the cell because the food of the plants is produced by the process of photosynthesis in the chloroplasts only which is  a type of plastid with green pigments.
