The Non-Cooperation Movement was withdrawn after the Chauri Chaura incident in February 1922. The Working Committee of the Congress met at Bardoli on 11 and 12 February 1922 and passed a resolution suspending mass civil disobedience till the atmosphere was perfectly non-violent.
