Child headed families means those families which are headed by a child or minor. These child mostly act as the head of the house . This happens mostly in the developing areas or countries and may be in the time of war where parents are already dead or may be physically incapable of doing work for earning . These child either work for themselves in younger age in order to fulfill their needs or supported by some charity. Mostly eldest child of the house took the charge and work for all the house thus also result in the leaving of school or education. Such type of families are more common in the african region.
