16th October 1905: The provincialstate of Bengal was partitioned. Three months after the Viceroy of British India, Lord Curzon, announced his decision to split Bengal in 1905, thepartition came into force, effectively dividing the province on religious lines.

The separation was created on sixteen Oct, by Viceroy Curzon. the previous region of geographical region was divided into 2 new provinces "Bengal” that includes western geographical area furthermore because of the area of state and province and also the geographical area and Assam with Dhaka because of the capital of the latter.
The choice to have an effect on the Partition of the geographical area was proclaimed within the year of nineteen July 1905 by the Viceroy of Bharat, Lord Curzon.
