Newton’s first law of motion:- It states that “an object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion with the same speed and direction unless acted upon by unbalanced force.” This law is also known as law of inertia. Inertia is a property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless that state is changed by an external force.Remember, don’t confuse inertia with weight.

Explanation:- To understand this, ask yourself a simple question, why is it easier to move a car than a fully loaded truck ?why more force is required to move a loaded truck than a car?You might say “well, its because truck has more weight” or “more friction”. If this is your answer , then you are wrong.The weight acts downward and you are moving the vehicle in the forward direction.You are pulling\pushing the vehicle,not lifting it.

OK, think it this way, if both vehicles are in space, still more force is required to move the truck,even-though there is no weight,no air resistance nothing.This is called inertia. The truck has more inertia(due to higher mass),therefore required more force to move it. Inertia is property of mass.Its the property of a matter which resist the change of state ,rest or motion.
I assume you asked about the Newton’s three laws of motion.Here it goes

2.Newton’s second law of motion:- It states that “The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object. In other words it means the force exerted by a body is product of its mass and acceleration.

Explanation:-According to second law of motion, FORCE=Mass x Acceleration.

1st law-

Anything at rest/motion will remain at rest/motion until it comes in contact with an external unblanced force.Ex- a book on a table will remain at rest until you pick it up or push .

2nd law-

The force (F) applied by a body on any other object will be equal to the product of the object's mass (m) and its acceleration (a).
F= ma

Example- If you hit a ball with bat of mass 0.1 kg with acceleration of 2 m/s^2 , the force applied will be (0.1×2)= 0.2 N.

3rd law-

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.Example-While walking , you exert a force on the road and the road exerts equal force on your legs.
