Answer:

(a) Oxidation Reaction (or Combustion)

(b) Electrolytic Reaction

(c) Combination Reaction

Explanation:

(a) Magnesium is burnt i.e. it is reacted with Oxygen in the air and hence it is a Oxidation Reaction and also known as Combustion Reaction (burning).

Mg + O 2 → MgO

(b) When any reaction takes due to the flow of current through the reactants the it is known as Electrolytic Reaction.

H2O → 2 H2 + O2

(c) Ammonia and Hydrogen Chloride co.bine together to form Ammonium Chloride,

NH3 + HCl → NH4Cl

Hence, it is a Combination Reaction.

Hope it helped you !!

a) Combination reaction

2Mg + O2 ===> 2MgO

b) Electrolytic reaction

2H2O ====> 2 H2 + O2

c) Combination reaction

NH3 + HCl ===> NH4Cl
