Answer: (ii) Convex mirror is used as rear view mirrors in vehicles , the other vehicles are always beyond the 2F2F of convex lens so we get a diminished and erect image of other vehicle on lens hence lens gives a larger field of view to us , and we can see more vehicles in lens .

Concave mirrors are used as shaving mirrors as when the face is placed close to a concave mirror the concave mirror produces a magnified and erect image of the face so that it becomes easier to make a smooth shave.
