There are three types of levers,
First class lever:
The fulcrum is in the middle and the load and effort are on either sides, examples: scissor, grass cutter, car jack, and a crowbar
Second class lever:
Second-class levers have the load between the effort and the fulcrum. A wheelbarrow is a second class lever and so is a bottle opener
Third class lever:
A lever with its point of effort between the fulcrum and the load.
Examples: baseball bat and tweezers
