G = Shear tess / Shear strain
◆ Unit of G-
As strain is a unitless quantity, G has same units as of stress or pressure. i.e. Newton/Sq.meter (N/m^2).
This is also called as Pascal (Pa).
◆ Dimensions of G-
As strain is a dimensionless quantity, G has same dimensions as of stress or pressure. i.e. [ML^-1T^-2]
