Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

Mass = 20 kg

Weight on earth = mg = 20x9.8 = 196 N

Weight on moon = mg/6 = 196/6 = 32.67 N

Universal law of gravitation, According to this law the attractive force between any two bodies or object is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them.

=>Mass of an object = 20kg

=>Weight of an object on earth = mass x gravity

=> W = 20x9.8

=> 196N

=> Weight on moon = 1/6 weight on earth

=>Weight on moon = 196/6

=> Weight on moon = 32.666667
