UNIVERSAL LAW OF GRAVITATION WAS PROPOSED BY SIR ISAAC NEWTON.

THIS LAW SAYS THAT EVERY OBJECT ATTRACTS EVERY OTHER OBJECT WITH A FORCE WHICH IS --->

  • DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO PRODUCT OF THEIR MASSES.
  • AND INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL TO SQUARE OF DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM.

TO STUDY THIS LAW BRIEFLY AND TO DERIVE THE EXPRESSION LET'S SAY THERE ARE TWO BODIES OF MASS (M) AND (m) THAT ARE AT DISTANCE (D) FROM EACH OTHER AND THE FORCE OF ATTRACTION BETWEEN THEM IS (F).

NOW ACCORDING TO UNIVERSAL LAW OF GRAVITATION.
